Tell us a little bit about what your home looks like, plant-wise.
My home has a couple enclose terrariums and a pathos vine for the kitchen that's displayed in a 20 foot tall glass and is growing out from inside.
I also just have large cuttings from outside in my most prized vases. Most that I don't feel bad for cutting back because their invasive anyway (if it were my house, I'd have them removed and replaced with native beauties).
Basically everything doesn't need constant maintenance or watering (enclosed 3-6 months water maintenance!)
Do you have any insider tricks on how to keep succulents happy?
Oh yeah. You ready for this???
Succulents don't like to be overly loved.
The like to live off their reserves, much like cacti, water is stored in their leaves. As long as it's getting bright indirect sunlight, it should remain happy as a bug. I typically water every two weeks if it doesn't have a drainage hole. Water more in summer, less in winter.
Let it grow.
What is your favorite part about working with plants?
I love how my style is based on what Mother Nature gives me. I feel very connected and strive to display her well, in efforts of helping others feel more connected to natural beauty, as well.
